TMNT TABLES

In case you all were uninformed like myself, the stores only made one teenage mutant ninja turtles table. And that table was purchased by one mom and one mom only, so only she owns this table. She has all the rights to this table acording to a Kimberley P. So whenever you see this table
⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️

Anywhere online please note that the table belongs to only this mom, cause Kimberley P. Did some dective work  (more like CYBER STALKING) and informed me of this early this morning. Then being the very delusional person she is she informed me that I wasn't who I said I was. When in fact she has had several conversations in that whiney group of hers that gives single moms a bad name. I tried to give her a clue, everyone who knows me knows I am an atheist. I have mention it several times before. But she is stuck on her delusion that This mom not Kaye runs this page. Why? Well the answer will make you laugh! Because she has this unhealthy obsession with this mom that she has been cyber stalking her page.  And guess what she found. Apparently this mom's child has this exact same table, so since this table was featured in our blog, this mom must own the rights to this page and not Kaye.

Kimberley's Evidence:⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️ Do you see where those arrows are pointed? This psycho, has a complete folder filled with pics of this mom? This above screen shot came from her. I laugh when she sent it, cause those of you who follow us and in our group; knows that Kaye asked for photos of cookies with Santa right? This photo was already sent to us by the mom. Psycho mom Kimberley is claiming that because Kaye posted up a blog with this exact same table that this blog must belong to this mom cause look she has the same table on her profile, and their was only one table made right? But wait for it ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️
Several of you have the exact same table, including my six year old son.  Now look at this photo⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
These boys are coloring at the exact same table! And look that table is sitting besides a wall ! That wall looks familiar. Could that wall be the exact wall that is in the blog photo?⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
Don't forget that according to psycho mom kimberley that only this mom have this table and a wall in her house, the rest of us couldn't own this table and we don't have any walls in our houses either. But the blog in question was written by Kaye and why would Kaye have a TMNT table for her daughter? Is it because her ex husband is a ninja turtle fan? Those of you in the group knows about his comic con love. Could it be that he brought the table for their daughter because he is a comic book geek ???

Is this not a photo of a little girl wearing , wait what is that? Let me rub my eyes and look again? OMFG! It's a TMNT shirt! You mean to tell me that little girls can like TMNT as well? And wait look at the walls in the photo. They match the wall in the picture too. How odd. And you want to know what else is odd! I have seen that shirt somewhere else too!
OMG it's the same shirt!

How in the heck did that happen? The stores and company doesn't just sell one and that's it?!?! Now a normal person like the parents in our group would see something and be like, hey my kid has that , brought it at target or whatever. But that made a wonderful laughing time in the group when we started talking about toys that our kids all own. Check out that post coming soon. And for you lurkers who think we don't have any followers cause no one comments. Please note that unlike you we keep comments slimmed to none because we understand that everyone have difference of opinion and we want a Drama FREE !!!  Page and blog. Lets Ban Together To End The Mommy Wars

Let me start this blog off by saying, Yes I am aware of the single dads who are reading the blogs and following the Facebook page. This blog post is not to leave you out but to address an issue that seems to surface a lot with women.

Ladies , we are all mothers, and we should be uplifting each other not tearing each other down because another mom choses to parent differently than you.  We need to come together and stop with the drama and pettiness. Lets make it a point to end the mommy wars.

How do we win a "mommy war"?
We get a little closer every time we lift up a mom whose life is different from ours, instead of tearing her down. We "Win" when we recognize that the mom who volunteers at the school and the mom who runs a company; are both doing an important service and are equally worthy of respect. We "win" when we don't treat dads like dummies or babysitters. We "win" when we recognize that career ambition and the drive to nurture an exist in the same person at that same time, and work together to come up with ways to scratch both itches. --Meagan Francis

We all come from different walks of life and if you find yourself on this blog or our Facebook page its because , like me you are a single parent and you are practicing some , if not all the principles of attachment parenting. Just because another mother parent differently than you,  or isn't crunchy enough like you, is not an excuse to judge that mother. We are all doing things that best fits our needs and our family's needs. We are not a cult, so please do not try to turn attachment parenting into a cult. We are different Moms who parent and nurture our children in the way we see fit. Rather or not a Mom breastfeeds, baby-wear, feeds only an organic vegan diet,  circumcise , or co sleep. She is still a wonderful mother who is meeting the needs of her child.  So please no trolling and judging another mother saying she doesn't know or understand AP because she made a choice different than yours.

Also Let me add that their will be times that an article will be posted up about , breastfeeding, co sleeping, or circumcision, etc If you don't agree with it, please don't judge mothers who do. Think of this blog and Facebook page like an all you can eat buffet, take what you need / want and leave what you don't need / want.

Christmas on a Budget

Hello everyone, I am guess blogger Jasmine. A single mother of 4 beautiful children. I wanted to share with you all on how I did Christmas this year on a budget for my children. So please no judging in case my christmas was different from yours.

I am a full time student in school , working towards my degree in Early Childhood Education. I can't always depend on my children's fathers although I know that they are doing the best that they can. Money has been tight since I went back to school and had to stop working full time and go back to working part-time. My part time work meant that I was over the limit to qualify for the Salvation Army angel tree. I was totally bummed out on how would I be able to afford christmas this year for my children. And please before anyone judges me , I already know that christmas is more than gifts; but still as a parent I would like to think that you would feel the same way as me if you couldn't give your child anything for christmas. So I came up with a plan on how to make christmas one to remember even if the gifts were small. I saw on  Pinterest how families do an advent calendar with books , and I figure that could work with us. Instead of using just all christmas theme books I would use different story books so we can reread them throughout the year. I went to our local GoodWill and found some gently used books. I was able to purchase enough books for our advent calendar and spent under $10.

My children enjoyed opening up a gift of a book everyday leading up towards christmas and I enjoyed the fact that I was reading and bonding with them at the same time.

My mother brought over a gingerbread house kit and on Christmas Eve, my children and I build the gingerbread house and decorated it

As far as actual christmas gifts for Christmas Day goes, I purchased one special item for each child that was totally theirs. Stocking stuffers didn't include candy but snack foods that were their favorites. I was also able to get items that could be shared as a family, thanks to a sale I found at Toysrus with board games for $5 and puzzles for $3.

When they look back at this christmas they wont remember their mom being broke , they will remember it as the christmas that they got a gift leading up to Christmas Day and how their mommy read them a story everyday.

"Misbehavior"? Or Developmental Stage?

Toddlers can be exasperating. Does. this mean they're "misbehaving"?

Sometimes what we condemn as "misbehavior" is simply the child's attempt to have some need met in the best way they know, or to master a new skill. The more parents can accept this, the less they are tempted to shame children into growing up faster. For instance, it is normal for toddlers to be selfish, possessive, exuberant and curious. It is not unusual for two-year-olds to be unable to wait for something they want, as they don't understand time the way adults do. It is quite ordinary for three-year-olds to be sometimes defiant or hostile. If we shame instead of educate, we interrupt a valuable and stage-appropriate learning process, and our own opportunity to learn about the child's needs is lost.

A three-year-old who defies her mother by refusing to pack up her toys - after being told to do so repeatedly - may be attempting to forge a separate and distinct self-identity. This includes learning to exercise her assertiveness, and learning to navigate open conflict. Toddlers can be exasperating. But does this mean they're "misbehaving"?

Sensible limits are essential, but if children are shamed for their fledgling and awkward attempts at autonomy, they are prevented from taking a vital step to maturity and confidence. In the period glibly called the "terrible twos", and for the next couple of years, toddlers are discovering how to set their own boundaries. They are learning to assert their distinct individuality, their sense of will. This is critical if they are to learn how to stand up for themselves, to feel strong enough to assert themselves, and to resist powerful peer pressures later in life. If we persist in crushing their defiance, and shaming children into submission, we teach them that setting boundaries for themselves is not okay.

Even babies are thought to misbehave, such as when they don't sleep when they are told to. How could a five-month-old baby, for example, possibly be "naughty" for failing to go to sleep? Though it can be difficult for parents when babies experience disturbed sleep, it is nonsensical to see a non-sleeping baby as "disobeying" the parent, and to blame the baby for this.

Consider the example of an eight-month-old who crawls over to something that has flashing lights and interesting sounds. He pulls himself up to it and begins to explore. He does not know that it is his father's prized stereo. He finds himself being tapped on his hand by his mother, who tells him to stop being naughty. He cries. At eight months, a baby is unable to tell the difference between a toy and another's valuable property, and would be incapable of self-restraint if he could. Children's ceaseless curiosity - a frequent target for shaming - is what drives them to learn about the world. When a child's exploration is encouraged in a safe way, rather than castigated, their self-confidence grows. Unfortunately, we frequently call a behavior which may be entirely stage-appropriate "naughty", simply because it threatens our need for order, or creates a burden for us.

A flustered mother and her distraught four-year-old daughter emerge from a local store. The girl is sobbing as she is forcefully strapped into her stroller. "Stop it, you whiner!" screams the mother, as she shakes her finger in the little girl's face. Children are often berated for simply crying. Many people believe that a crying baby or child is misbehaving. Strong expressions of emotion - such as anger and sadness - are the child's natural way of regulating their nervous system, while communicating their needs. Children cry when they are hurting, and they have a right to express this hurt! Even though it is often hard to listen to, it must be remembered that it is a healthy, normal reaction that deserves attention. It is tragic to see how often children are shamed for crying.

Here is a further example of what happens when we are unaware of developmental norms. Until recently, toddlers were started on potty-training far too early, before they were organically capable of voluntary bowel control. Many found this transition to be a battle, and toddlers were commonly shamed and punished for what was a normal inability. What was once a struggle for both parents and children has been greatly alleviated through more accurate information about childhood development. Shaming often takes place when we try to encourage or force a behavior that is developmentally too early for the child's age.

We have come a long way in our understanding about child development in recent decades, and made many advances in childcare as a result. Easy-to-read child-development books fill the stores, by authors such as Penelope Leach, Katie Allison Granju, Pinky McKay and Jan Hunt, and these can help parents to have reasonable and realistic expectations of their children. Children and parents are both happier when parents have reasonable and age-appropriate expectations of their child's behavior.

Peaceful Parent, Happy Kids

This is THE book that was missing from my repertoire of gentle parenting resources. This is THE book that I read two times in a row while barely coming up for air. The is THE book that has actually showed me, in a palatable manner, how to be the patient, non-voice-raising mama I knew I could be.

Peaceful Parent, Happy Kids might seem like a lengthy book at first glance but it is divided into three sections which makes it much easier to digest. Each section is broken down further into pointed topics which are designed to help you master peaceful parenting. The division of topics is perfect, giving the reader the opportunity to let the research, the advice, and the real-life application techniques a chance to soak in.

There are so many things I enjoyed about this book. First, while Dr. Laura does not talk down to the reader, she doesn't present information in some esoteric, can't-wrap-your-brain-around-it way either. She is clear and gentle, yet effective in the research and methodology she outlines in the book. Basically, she speaks to your heart in a way that gets it to open up without making you feel horrible about your past shortcomings as a parent.

Second, this book is designed to be used for a long time! Parents of toddlers will benefit just as much as parents of elementary school age children. In fact, the earlier you read this, the more of an opportunity you have to use it as your child grows! Dr. Laura has several sections that she breaks down further based on the age of your child. I love this because as every parent knows, there is NO one size fits all approach to parenting children as they move through various developmental stages. Each age and stage comes with its own unique set of challenges and opportunities. Dr. Laura has given parents the gift of learning how their parenting can evolve alongside their children's growth and development.

My advice is to read the book cover to cover before attempting to implement any of Dr. Laura's techniques. As you go, earmark what resonates with you, perhaps focusing on those areas you really need to troubleshoot within your parenting arsenal. (That is a nice way of saying "earmark the sections that you are having parenting failures with!") Then go back and dig deep. DEEP! Don't take shortcuts. Don't try to rush anything. Take what Dr. Laura suggests and deliberately begin making the changes you feel in your gut you need to make. Then watch your relationship with your child bloom like you never thought it could. Because it will based on my experience.
